Citytv™ Breakfast Television Inside Scoop on Canada’s Got Talent Live Finale Contest

1.“Contest Period” starts at 8:01 am on March 5, 2012 and continues until 11:59 pm on April 29, 2012 (the “Contest Closing Date”). All times are Eastern. No purchase necessary. Enter once per day during the Contest Period.

2.To enter, watch Breakfast Television for the Inside Scoop on Monday and Tuesday then visit www.breakfasttelevision.ca, click on the contest button and select the correct multiple choice answer.

3. A random draw by a representative of Citytv, a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Citytv”) will be made from all eligible entries received at approximately 9:00 am on May 1, 2012. The first entry drawn will be the selected entrant for the grand prize. The second entry drawn will be the selected entrant for the secondary prize. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone or e-mail, as set out on their entry form.

4.If a selected entrant cannot be reached within three (3) business days following the draw, is ineligible according to these rules, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a signed release of liability as may be specified below, another eligible entrant will be selected.

5.Participants are eligible to win one (1) prize consisting of a trip for four (4) to Toronto including round trip, economy airfare for four (4) from the international airport closest to winner’s residence within Canada to Toronto; round trip ground transportation from the Toronto airport to the hotel; accommodation in one (1) room for two (2) night at a hotel determined by Citytv (based on double occupancy); $300 CDN Dollars cash spending money; four (4) tickets to see Canada’s Got Talent finale show live on May 14,2012. The approximate retail value of the prize is $4000. In the event the winner resides within 300 KLMS of Toronto, the airfare portion of the prize will be forfeit and the winner will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Toronto. Secondary prize will be a red Black Berry from Rogers, approximate retail value is $500. Secondary prize does not include activation or airtime. Winner is responsible for all costs including but not limited to, activation on the Rogers Wireless network and will be required to sign the standard Wireless Service Agreement of Rogers Wireless in connection with such activation. If winner is an existing Rogers Wireless customer, winner may transfer the prize to their existing Rogers Wireless account. No cash substitutes.

6.Citytv reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of greater or equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize.

Winner and guest are solely responsible for all other transportation, taxes, transfers, travel insurance, spending money, tips, meals and other charges not specifically mentioned as part of the prize. Winner and guest are solely responsible for obtaining their own travel documents such as passport or travel visa in advance of the departure date. Citytv is not responsible in the event winner and/or guest are refused entry to destination country or re-entry to Canada for whatever reason and any unused portion of the prize will be forfeit. Winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary. Citytv does not assume responsibility for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events after ticketing of prize for any reason. Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable and is subject to all industry black-out dates and regulation. Trip must be completed by May 14, 2012.

7.To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time and may also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.

8.By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any video, audio or photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by Citytv, (together with Citytv, the “Contest Sponsors”), and/or their advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.

9.This contest is open to all residents of Canada (except in the province of Quebec) who are over the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, and excluding employees of the Contest Sponsors and contest suppliers, FremantleMedia Limited, FremantleMedia North America, Inc., Simco Ltd., Syco TV their parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, judges, and those with whom they are domiciled. This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants.

10.Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Citytv. Citytv takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Citytv is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of Citytv and will not be returned.

11.Citytv is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Citytv with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. Please see Citytv’s Privacy Policy at www.citytv.com for information on its policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.

12.By entering this contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors, their advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releases”) from any liability in connection with this contest or, if declared a winner, the prize. Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, and photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

13.This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Citytv. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the contest. The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.

14.Citytv assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Citytv reserves the right, in its sole discretion; to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Citytv reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

15.If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
