OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
Breakfast Television / Ranchman's BT Stampede Party Contest
ROGERS BROADCASTING LTD.

1. The Breakfast Television & Ranchman's BT Stampede Party Contest (the “Contest”) is brought to you by Citytv Calgary, a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Citytv”), and Ranchman's  (together with Citytv, the “Contest Sponsors”).  Contest starts at 5:30am on June 18, 2012 and continues until 11:59am on July 4, 2012. (the “Contest Closing Date”). No purchase necessary.  Only one (1) entry per household.  Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.

2. How to enter:

Visit www.breakfasttelevision.ca/calgary and complete the entry ballot in full and submit as instructed by the Contest Closing Date.

Random draws will be made by a representative of Citytv, a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited ("Citytv") at 1:00pm on the following dates:   June 28, June 29, July 3 and July 4, 2012 from all eligible online entries to determine winners of 2 or 4 tickets to attend the BT Stampede Breakfast Party (the Event) to be held on July 5th, 2012 at Ranchman's located at 9615 Macleod Trail S., Calgary, Albeta.  2011 and for the chance to win other prize giveaways. 

Winners must be able to attend on the date and time designated by the Contest Sponsors, or the opportunity to participate to win the Prize will be forfeited.  Winners are solely responsible for all other fees and charges not specifically mentioned as part of the prize.

3. Prizes:  There are 200 tickets in total available to be won.   Winners will received either two (2) or four (4) tickets to the Event.  Approx value of each prize is $50 or $100 based on two or four tickets..

4. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to this contest and the awarding of the prize.  Winner must sign and return a Declaration and a Liability/Publicity Release prior to being ticketed or within such other period as Citytv may specify. 

5. If a selected potential finalist cannot be reached within one (1) business day following the online draws, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a signed Declaration & Release as specified below, another entrant will be selected.

6. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, refunded, or exchanged. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever the reason, of the advertised prize in whole or in part.

7. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question posed during online entry and may also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form.  Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.

8. By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by Citytv and/or its advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation. 

9. This contest is open to legal residents of Alberta, who are over the age of majority excluding employees of Citytv and the Ranchman's (the “Contest Sponsors”), their parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled.  This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. 

10. No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants. 

11. Odds of being a potential finalist is dependent on the number of eligible entries received.   All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Citytv.  Citytv takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed,damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.  Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest.  All entries become the property of Citytv and will not be returned.

12. Citytv is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this contest.  No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Citytv with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form.  Please see Citytv’s Privacy Policy at http://www.rogerspublishing.ca/privacy.htm. 

13. By entering this contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors, their advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this contest or, if declared a winner, the prize(s).  Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release.  By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses by the Contest Sponsors for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

14. This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Citytv.  Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in this contest.  The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.

15. Citytv assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.  Citytv reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws.  Should such an attempt be made, Citytv reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. 

16. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.  All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
