1. “Contest Period” starts at 5:30 am on Monday, July 30th, 2012 and continues until 11:59 pm on Sunday, August 12th, 2012 (the “Contest Closing Date”). All times are Mountain. No purchase necessary.
2. To enter, follow the instructions as given by our BT hosts and enter at www.breakfasttelevision.ca/edmonton and follow the instructions and complete the entry form with the required information.
3. One (1) random draw, by a representative of Citytv Edmonton, a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited, from all eligible entries received will be made at approximately 9:00am on August 13, 2012 at #10212 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5J 5A3. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone or email as set out on their entry ballot.
4. In the event selected entrants cannot be reached within two (2) days following the draw, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a release of liability as specified below, another entrant will be selected until all the prizes have been awarded.
5. Participants are eligible to win one (1) prize, having an approximate retail value of $1500.00 CAD and consisting of:

Air transportation for the potential winner and his/her guest from Edmonton to the 4 Wing Base on Saturday August 25, 2012 and returning after the show. The plane will be landing in the middle of the action, right on base. Flight departure TBD
• Two (2) – VIP LANYARDS FOR RACE THE BASE AUG 25 – GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS
VIP Lanyards provide admittance to the VIP Tent at the starting line of the race, located next to the high performance car display. Also, this lanyard will allow access to practice rounds and give photo opportunities.
• Two (2) – DREAM RIDES FOR GUESTS/CHOOSE YOUR RIDE
Dream Rides will entitle the recipient passenger position in their choice of any car available, speeding down the landing strip similar to those registered for the event. It will truly be a wild experience to select the car of your dreams, put on a helmet, and be a passenger as the ride runs down the strip! A waiver will have to be signed prior to this experience.
• Two (2) - FOOD AND BEVERAGE PACKAGES
VIPs at this event will be treated to complimentary food and beverage through out the day. Visit the VIP Lounge for refreshments or complimentary food on Saturday August 25, 2012. (No alcohol will be served on site due to the nature of this event)
Show Guides will highlight each register car along with a photo and automotive specifications. The guide will also feature stories about the CF-18 Military Jet, and the people that make it all possible. Potential winner and guest must be able to travel from Edmonton, AB to Cold Lake, AB on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
Winner is responsible for transportation to and from the gateway airport and all other expenses not stated as included herein. Prize must be taken as offered and is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash, credit or alternative prizes, except in ZR Auto’s sole discretion. Prize cannot be sold and in the event that it is sold, the Prize will be void.
No credit or reimbursement will be provided if Prize is not taken. Prize cannot be combined with any other promotional offer or offers provided by ZR Auto.
Winner must travel on the same itinerary for both the outbound and inbound flights. No changes to travel dates or passenger names are permitted once booking has been confirmed. Prize is governed by laws, regulations, international conventions, tariffs and conditions of carriage. Other restrictions may apply.
6. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. ZR Auto reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize(s).
7. Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for ground transportation, taxes, transfers, travel insurance, spending money, tips, meals and other travel and hotel charges not specifically mentioned as part of the prize. Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining their own travel documents such as passport or proof of identification in advance of the departure date. Winner and travel companion must travel together on the same itinerary.
8. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time and may also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.
9. By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph, video and/or audio of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by Citytv/Breakfast Television and/or its advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.
10. This contest is open to residents of Edmonton and Northern Alberta who are 18 years of age or older and excluding employees of Rogers Broadcasting Ltd., ZR Auto, air transportation supplier, their parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Citytv. Citytv takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Citytv is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of Citytv and will not be returned.
12. Citytv is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Citytv with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. Please see Citytv’s Privacy Policy at www.breakfasttelevision.ca for information on its policy towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.
13. By entering this contest, entrants release and hold harmless Citytv, its advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this contest or, if declared a winner, the prize(s). Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. Trip winner’s guest must also sign and return a Declaration and a Liability/Publicity Release prior to being ticketed or within such other period as Citytv may specify. Trip winner’s guest cannot be changed after the Declaration and Release are received. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.
14. This contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Citytv. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the contest. The terms of this contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
15. Citytv assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Citytv reserves the right to cancel or suspend the email portion of this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Citytv reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
16. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).
