Contest

1. Contest Period (“Contest Period”) starts at 5:30 am on Monday, December 17, 2012 and continues until Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. the Contest Closing Date (the “Contest Closing Date”). All times are Eastern. No purchase necessary. Only one (1) entry per person. Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter more than once per person, any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will void all of your entries. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, illegible, contain false information, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled or incomplete, altered or otherwise irregular or that do not conform with or satisfy any or all of the conditions the Contest Rules will be judged void. Citytv, a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Citytv”) and Intel® (“Intel”) are the sponsors of the Contest (the “Contest Sponsors”).

2. To enter, participants must complete the entry ballot on the microsite by following the Contest link from BreakfastTelevision.ca and submitting it as instructed by the Contest Closing Date.

3. Five (5) random draws (one (1) each in Ontario, British Columbia and Manitoba and two (2) from Alberta) will be made the week of December 31, 2012, by a representative of Citytv, from all eligible entries received in each of the foregoing provinces as of the Contest Closing Date, at Toronto, Ontario. The selected entrant will be contacted by telephone or email, as set out on their entry.

4. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within three (3) business days following the draw, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a release of liability as specified below, the selected entrant will be disqualified and forfeits the prize and another entrant will be selected until the prize is awarded.

5. Participants are eligible to win one (1) of five (5) Grand Prizes, each consisting of the following: One (1) Lenovo Thinkpad S230u 3347-2RU Twist with Intel® Core™ i7 Processor, Touchscreen Technology and Windows 8, valued at approximately $1,079.00. Please note, the grand prize does not include any peripheral devices.

6. The Grand Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. Citytv reserves the right, in its sole discretion to substitute a prize of greater or equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize in whole or in part.

7. To be declared a winner, selected entrants must first correctly answer, unaided; a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time and may also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form. Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.

8. By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Citytv and their advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.

9. This Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba and Alberta who are over the age of majority in their province of residence, excluding employees of Citytv, Intel (“Intel”) and their respective parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, Contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.

10. No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants.

11. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by the Citytv. Citytv takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Citytv is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest. All entries become the property of the Citytv and will not be returned.

12. Citytv is collecting, using and disclosing personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Citytv with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form (please see Citytv’s Privacy Policy at http://www.rogerspublishing.ca/privacy.htm). Entrants may chose on the entry form to provide their personal information to Intel, to be used and disclosed for the purposes set out on the entry form (please see Intel’s Privacy Policy at http://www.intel.com/sites/sitewide/en_US/privacy/privacy.htm?iid=ftr+privacy).

13. By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors, their respective advertising and promotional agencies and the contest judge(s), and each of their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize(s). Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release. By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses by the Contest Sponsors for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.

14. This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Contest Sponsors. Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest. The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.

15. The Contest Sponsors assume no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion. Citytv reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. In the event of cancellation, Citytv may, in its sole discretion, elect to identify winners and award the prizes by way of random drawing from among all non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of such cancellation. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Citytv reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Entries may be subject to verification. Each entrant agrees to cooperate fully with the Contest Sponsors and their agents in connection with any investigation undertaken by it in respect of this Contest and its administration and operation.

16. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
