Breakfast Television and Hockey Calgary are proud to team up again for the 2nd Annual
Breakfast Television Outdoor Classic, hosting over 1,000 Atom hockey players (9-10 year old boys and girls) from February 24th to March 2nd on rinks and in arenas throughout Calgary.
All this week we were live on-location at a different outdoor rink for good ol' fashion hockey and featured games. These games counted towards the round-robin and were played live on Breakfast Television to give kids an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
It was an incredible week!
By means of a Voting process four lucky teams from two divisions had the chance to play at the Scotiabank Saddledome where the Calgary Flames play on Friday, March 2nd!
The Divisions with the most votes were Division 7 and Division 11! Thanks again to all who voted!
And a BIG congratulations to Division 7 finalists the Glenlake Hawks who will be taking on the Simons Valley Snipers and Division 11 finalists the McKnight Mustangs playing against the PSA Vipers
in the two gold medal games broadcast live on Breakfast Television.
